Barrack and Hay Street, Perth, SW corner, 1837-1890

Dodgy Perth (in Facebook):
Sometimes all that is left of a place is a tantalising glimpse. The Devonshire Arms Hotel was one of Perth's first pubs, opening around 1837 on the corner of Barrack and Hay Streets, and demolished 1890. The only visual trace seems to be this where it is just noticeable on the left, set back from the building in front. Suppose we shouldn't complain, since for some places there are no pictures at all.
