John & his brother Emidio (Mim) were born in Italy & came to settle in Spearwood with their mother and father, Amelia and Bruno. John went on to study pharmacy and set up a business in Fremantle. He married Pamela Russell & they had seven children. John was a well known Fremantle identity & was Mayor of the City of Fremantle for 12 years. I believe his pharmacy was the one at 197 High Street (now 'Greg's'). He was mayor 1984-1994.
