Eric Edgar Cooke

In relation to Fremantle, serial killer Eric Cooke is known specifically for only two things: being the last person to be hanged in Fremantle Prison, and being buried in Fremantle Cemetery, in the same grave and above the remains of Martha Rendell, who was also hanged for murder. The grave is unmarked, except for a number. However, there is a 'tour' plaque, as the Rendell/Cooke grave is no. 8 on the 'Heritage Tour'.
