Peter Dowding is a former Premier of WA, now retired and living in South Fremantle.
On the one day, 18 August 2023, he has had articles published about him (and his new book) in both the Fremantle Herald and the Fremantle Shipping News – and now here as well.
Peter Dowding is one month older than me, and I remember his father better. For one 40 minute 'period' (class) a week at my high school (Perth Modern School), we were offered a choice of Religious Education, according to religions/demonations. The word got around that Keith Dowding was the most entertaining preacher on offer, so his classroom was full of keen 'students', including me.
