John Finigan

FINEGAN, John, (listed on ship as Fennager), b. 1789, arr. 5.8.1829 per Calista, servant & carpenter to Lionel Samson. In 2.1830 was freed from his indentures. In 12.1832 worked on the Govt Mill for Reve1ey. In 1834 signed Welcome to Stirling. Dep. 11.1835 per Currency Lass for N.S.W., fare paid by Sydney merchants.

Listed in 1832 census as Finigan, aged 50, from Ireland, indentured to Lionel Samson.

Listed in Errington 2023 (as Fanagan/Finegan) as being jailed on the Marquis of Anglesea, 28 February 1830, for misconduct as a servant.
