Granted 8880 acres of which 1000 were selected in Canning district & the rest in Avon district. Bt. Swan Loc K1 "Rainsworth" from Dubois Agett. His sons were active in exploration & survey duties. His widow was left in straitened circumstances. She employed a T/L man 1853 at Perth.
