Clerk to Colonial Secretary Brown [Broun] 6.1836. Left colony briefly in 1830 per Britannia to bring stock from N.S.W. for his & brother William's grants near Bunbury where he had 1780 acres. By 1840 was at Wonnerup where he had a town lot & extensive leasehold by 1850 of 20,000 acres. Licensee "Bunbury Hotel" 1844. C/E .
