Uglieland was a fairground on Pioneer Park 1922-1936 sponsored by the Ugly Men's Association, a charitable organisation formed to raise money to alleviate suffering in the community caused by World War 1.

The related park in Perth was called White City, Cooee City, or Ugly City. (The different spelling Ugly City/Uglieland is convenient to differentiate the two parks.) White City operated on the foreshore after the first World War until 1929. Photo above from 1922.
