Donald Whittington

Don Whittington was a Fremantle councillor (1975-84) and deputy mayor (1982-84). He is currently (2023) president of the Fremantle Workers Club (since 2011) and was president of the Fremantle Society in 1989. He is a life member of both.

For the Heritage Festival in 2016 he conducted both a tour of the Fremantle Cemetery, with a Rottnest theme, and Don's Tram Tour of Fremantle, which shows buildings that were saved by the Fremantle Society, and where others were lost.
